Wenatchee Sunrise Rotary's board of directors is
its governing body and is comprised of the president, vice
president, president-elect, secretary, treasurer, the immediate past
president, secretary and treasurer, plus four directors who oversee
each of the four Avenues of Service.
The club's board of directors has the following
responsibilities:
- Act as a club budget or finance committee
to
- Develop a budget that provides a
realistic amount of money for each committee and club activity
- Approve all
expenditures not accounted for in the club budget
- Ensure that potential club members meet
qualifications and can hold a classification.
- Inform the proposer of a decision
regarding membership, through the club secretary, within 30 days.
- Review the program and policies of the
club to ensure that they are being implemented effectively.
- Consider new and creative ways to promote
the Object of Rotary.
- Assess current trends in the community
and the world and evaluate how the club can pursue its goals in
regard to these trends.
While much of the business of the board can be
administered at regular club meetings, the board's planning and
budgeting functions are best handled at special meetings.
