February 2004 Board of Directors Meeting

Meeting convened 7:15

Present: Carol Stueckle (to drop off January minutes), Milt Herman, Sara Urdahl, Kevin Love, Rod Higley, Bill McDowell, Brad Hauck

Guests: Dave Freimuth (new board member)

Budget

Line items were discussed; we're halfway through the year and doing well. Question arose about the mechanics of challenge scholars. Sara gave a brief report on Interact.

Miscellaneous Expenses

Kevin will look up details.

Dues & Arrears

Questions included the status of Bernie Johnson's Leave of Absence and Joanne Knouf's resignation with dues still owing.

New Business

Milt presented a proposal from Lincoln Elementary requesting funds for a night meeting. The board approved $200, to be donated in consultation with chair Eric Peterson.

District Conference

The organizing committee is planning a slide show on all clubs in the district. Milt will contact Erik Holmberg to see if he can send some photos.

Other Business

Senior dinner plans and activities were discussed, including the projected "lifespan" of this project.
