March board meeting minutes Present: Milt Herman, Joanne Rosenthal, Kris Pomianek, Brad Hauck, Kevin Love, Sara Urdahl Guest: Bryan Noyd YOUTH EXCHANGE Milt and Lin Renberg met with Maddy Ryan Monday night to go over the youth exchange ground rules. They discussed her expectations and Milt hopes that the rest of her stay will work out fine. BIKE RIDE Bryan presented his concerns about the Chelan ride: "I am concerned that their ride is a real threat to our business." He would like the board to go on record as protesting their action. Extensive discussion ensued on how Chelan came to take on this ride. Milt enlisted Bryan's aid in drafting a letter to Chelan Rotary club. Joanne relayed a request from a Spokane club for the Century Ride mailing list and asked for board direction. Sara moved that the board adopt a policy: "respecting our riders' privacy, we will not distribute and share our mailing list." Milt seconded. Motion passed. INTER-CLUB ACTIVITIES Milt related a request from Jim Russell, Wenatchee Rotary, requesting our club's assistance for their Habitat House construction. FINANCIALS Kevin distributed financials.
